converting binary (real format) data from E5061B

I have an E5061B that I want to read S11 data over GPIB.

I set binary format with the command ":form:data real"

I read the data with the command ":calc1:data:fdata?"

With 201 data points, I now have a string of length 3225. The header is "#6003216" which from other binary formats looks like it indicates "the next 6 bytes indicate how many bytes of following" and the next 6 byes are 3216, which corresponds to 16 bits per data point. But what is the format of this data?

I'm used to older HP instruments like 8753 VNAs and 8560 SAs where you can read the manual and it specifies how the data is formatted so you can easily write a program to convert. I can't find any reference in the manuals to the format.
