I have a new Ecal unit (N7555A) that I'd like to use with an Agilent PNA-X (N5242A). After connecting and checking for available Ecal Units, the Analyzer says there is no connection possible to the Ecal.
It seems like there are no supporting drivers for the Ecal to download on the Keysight homepage.
Do you know where to find a driver for the Ecal or how to solve this connectivity problem?
That particular ECal is fairly new model. You may be running an older version of firmware on your PNA-X that is not aware of that new ECal. You can go to this page (Keysight PNA Series: Firmware, Upgrades, and Support ) and see if you have the latest firmware for your PNA-X model. Keep in mind that if your PNA-X is still running on a Windows XP OS, you won't be able to update to a version of the firmware that could support the new ECal. If that is the case, there are upgrade paths for A model PNA-X's to B model PNA-X (that includes OS upgrade to Windows 10), but there is obviously cost associated with that.
