I am trying to connect my PC to a E5071A ENA Series Network Analyzer, but when I do it, the Fail LED on my GPIB cable turns on. My objective is to control the VNA from Matlab, using the Instrument Control Toolbox, but when I click on the scan icon, it doesn't find the instrument.
I found out Matlab offers a support package called "Instrument Control Toolbox Support Package for Keysight IO Libraries and VISA Interface", but I can't download it yet, so I was wondering if installing this will solve my problem.
I also tried to find any kind of drivers for the VNA in its corresponding Keysight page, but I can't find any (except for some printer drivers).
Any suggestions?
Update: I have downloaded the 2019 keysight IO library suite, and I still fail to connect the device.
The GPIB cable LEDs now light up correctly (all of them should be on), but when I scan the intsument through the intrument control toolbox of Matlab, I can't find the VNA.
I also tried the conexion expert that comes with the IO libraries, but that program fails to detect the VNA too.
