Can anyone please suggest how to do SOLT calibration perfectly? We have calkit 3.5mm 85033D that goes upto 8 GHz, but I need to do some calibration over the range of 5GHz-15GHz.
Also for one of my research work I am trying to do some free space measurement. There are TRL, GRL calibration method I found in website but I am not getting good response after performing the GRL calibration. Any guidance would be very much helpful.
As far as I am aware, the open and short calibration standards in the 85033D are the same as in the 26.5 GHz 85052B, 85052C or 86052D calibration kits.
Here are the coefficients of the 85033D

and here they are of the 26.5 GHz 85052D

It is highly likely they are the same devices with just different labels, and price tags on them. I doubt you will get an official confirmation of that from Keysight, but I believe it was stated by a Keysight employee once on here.
The 85033D is rated to 6 GHz, not 8 GHz.
The loads are a different matter. I've no idea if they are the same. It might be worth investing in a couple of loads from the 85052 series cal kits, which are rated to 26.5 GHz.
