Hi,
I'm using an N1914A power meter and U8481A sensor over GPIB (meter) and am looking for N1914A programming code to apply gamma correction to measurements using the reflection magnitude and phase of the source. When using my PC to monitor the U8481A (or any USB sensor with capacity) I can apply gamma correction using the commands seen below, but can't find the equivalent code for the N1914A when I'm using it to monitor the sensor. Is there a way to pass the source reflection data to the sensor through the N1914A over GPIB?
Commands when using PC to monitor the sensor:
CORR:SGAM:MAGN [V MLin]
CORR:SGAM:PHAS [V Angle]
Thank you,
Randy
Those commands are not supported in the N1914A programming manual. The N1914A pre-dates the U848x series sensors. From what you're saying, I understand that your N1914A has the USB control connector on the front panel and you are communicating with the U848x thru the N1914A. But I'm wondering why go thru the N1914A. You can control the U848x directly via USB and have those commands available that way.
