from some days, powering on the multimeter, in whatever option, with or without probes connected, i get a continuous sound and "AErr" error.
Any help would be very appreciated.
from user and service manual.
Maybe you have a problem with A input terminal, it's detect a connection when the are no probes connectd to.
If your device is no longer under warranty, in your place I would open the cover and inspect the connections ... bad contact?
well, AErr is not flashing, but fixed. Btw,
- with sound on, when i move the rotary switch to A, sound stops and error disappears
- i opened and checked a lot around the connector plug and contact, plugging and unplugging the contact (measured with another tester works), so i suspect it is the first IC getting this signal, or in the path to it, something is wrong.
- well, after doing some resolder, check, dry contact spray and the like, once closed, for now, it seems working. But i suspect it's not solved.
Thanks for now
Issue is back.
Sorry that the problem is back. Have you schematic, I did not find anything for the U1241B. I have an U1232A with same function, but no schematics.
Hi Tardz, thanks for the support,
form some more measurements, i have seen that the open contact on A is not totally open, but seems to have some magaohms, so the operational measure as closed. Just switched A with uA red female plug, all works.
Thanks a lot
Have a Good Day!
