34410A - Recording data using VISA, error 410

Hi,

I am trying to take a large sample of DC current measurements. While the correct readings are displayed on the multimeter itself, the correct data is not being sent to my PC. I only receive the value '16' from the multimeter. Due to the error 'query interrupted', I believe that the problem lies in the full data not being read by my computer from output buffer before the instrument is made to take the next measurement.

Here is my code:

*RST

*CLS

MEAS:CURR:DC?

Alternatively, I have tried using:

*RST

*CLS

CONF:CURR:DC

INIT

FETC?

Both return a value of 16. I'm not sure what I can use to read the entire data value from the output buffer - is there a command to increase memory allocation? Or am I on the wrong track entirely?

Thanks in advance. I have attached my code file if that can be of any use.
