The 66321B/D Specifications declare that the Dynamic measurement system offers a Buffer size of 4096 points (max).
Our 66321D has a maximum of 2048 points (checked via the 66321D front panel).
The serial no. is: SG43000116
Option: 0
The ROM version is: A.03.01
Can anyone explain why the Buffer size in our 66321D is limited to 2048 points?
Attachment: Screendump of 66300 Series Specifications.
Hi,
buffer size in data sheet is for GPIB measurement only (size is 1 to 4096). From the front panel (METER button), the number of sample max is 2048 and it's for Meter display only. The choice of the # of points in front panel measurement buffer is( 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, or 2048). These samples are processed and result is displayed on Front panel.
Buffer size max of 4096 is not the same thing that number of sample max of 2048 which only concerns the display on the front panel.
