I cannot get Acronis True Image to run off a USB stick for our PNA-X Network Analyzer N5242A. When I run it, it just hangs after I tell it to run true image. Please help.
Have you tried calling Acronis support? For obvious reasons, we can't possibly test all 3rd party software that one might want to use with our analyzers. From the tags that you included with your questions, it looks like your PNA-X has the win 7 OS and we use a fairly standard version of win7 OS without too many customizations. An alternative is to use the built-in win7 os recovery feature, but also keep in mind that the PNA-X has its own factory recovery partition, which in case of failure can restore your PNA-X back to factory conditions at the time it was shipped. If you go through the recovery process, you would then have to re-apply firmware updates (if you have done any) and also apply windows security updates (if your IT organization requires it). So the only thing you might want to back up are your state and calibration files, which you could do simply with file explorer and a thumb drive.
