Hello,
I'm using an A model PNA-X with the latest A.10.64.09 firmware. In the help file, it stated that the equation editor should work for all PNA apps. However, as you can see from the attachment, when I try to query channel 8 which is a Swept IMD measurement channel for the equation status using SCPI commands, it times out. But when I perform the same operation on channel 7, which is a S parameter channel, it immediately tells me that the equation editor status is 0. I want to program in an equation using scpi, instead of doing it manually thru the menus, which works. If someone can verify and propose a fix, that would be great.
Thanks,
rok
In order to use the calc:equ:stat command you must first select a trace in the channel and that trace must have a valid equation associated with it. From the picture you have attached, I can't tell if trace 102 in channel 8 is an equation trace or if it has been selected using calc:par:sel or calc:par:mnum:sel commands. Refer to the help for calc:equ:stat here and if you have met the preconditions and you are still getting a timeout, then post back here with more detail about how you are actually setting up the equation in channel 8 (the list of SCPI commands)
