Hello,
I have a B2962A power source and I am trying to set up symmetrical voltages as +/- 9V.
By referring to Get ±25 volts from a DC bench power supply and easily set up symmetrical voltages , I will use Channel 1 as positive voltage source and Channel 2 as the negative voltage source. But I don't know if I can set the cable connection like this figure?
I also didn't find the tracking function in this instrument, is there other method I can do in the B2962A?
Thanks.
Aaron
Hi,
The B2962A is a four-quadrant voltage and current, you have the option to make several configurations to have ± 9V.
If you set CH1 to -9V and CH2 to +9V, you have 2 wires configuration below with possibility to connect REF to ground chassis for example.
Or simply basic connection like this, CH1 and CH2 set to +9V
For tracking mode, I'm not sure because I don't have a B2962A, use grouping channel function mode (user manual) and try to set Voltage.
