I am doing one of the experiment to validate 34970A with 37901A sampling speed. I did the following steps:

  1. Using a 33120A function generator to generate sine/square wave with 500Hz frequency.
  2. Connect the functional generator output across a 50-ohm resistor.
  3. And then connect DAQ 34970A  with(34901A) @ ch1 across 50 ohms resistor.
  4. Measure its AC voltage across the 50 ohms resistor.

The result of reconstructing the sine/square wave voltage does not have expected output @ the DAQ34901A ch1 when compared to the function generator.  (i.e. It suppose matching what the signal generator output waveform, but it is not)

I created a VI of LabView to acquire the output of the signal from the DAQ  in the attachment.

Do you have any ideas why the measurement result is not the same as the expected waveform coming from the signal generator?

I would really appreciate it if you can have more insight into the problem.
