Performance testing Cal Kits

Hello again,

A customer of mine wants me to Calibrate his Maury Microvave 8650J Cal Kit with my 8510. The Maury kit is designed for calibrating 8510's, but it seems like it would be creating a traceability problem, or at least a Test Accuracy Ratio problem.

I will be using an E-Cal module as my own cal kit for my own 8510. If I had a cal kit that was superior to the Maury and was component instead of E-Cal, maybe I could compare piece by piece, but I just don't know what to expect comparing a component kit to references set with my E-Cal module.

Should accept I accept this job, or pass on the way, I'm in Germany, and if I pass on it, the job will most likely go to EADS or Rohde & Schwarz.

Also, will the 8510 be able to create a new diskette of correction factors to supply to the customer?

Thanks for your advice.
