Hello,

I am having trouble calibrating E8357A thru GPIB. Could someone help me?

Here is my situation: I use full 2-port and user defined calkit. I defined calkit as number 37 and named MyCalKit.

Here are my code: I used only one channel CH1. Defined two measurements CH1_S11_1 linked to S11 and CH1_S22_2 linked to S22.

1. For OPEN, which is STAN0, I sent code for each port
    :CALC1:PAR:SEL "CH1_S11_1";
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:METH SPARSOLT;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:CKIT 37;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL STAN0;
    :CALC1:PAR:SEL "CH1_S22_2";
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:METH SPARSOLT;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:CKIT 37;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL STAN0;

2. For SHORT, which is STAN1, I again sent code for each port
    :CALC1:PAR:SEL "CH1_S11_1";
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:METH SPARSOLT;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:CKIT 37;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL STAN1;
    :CALC1:PAR:SEL "CH1_S22_2";
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:METH SPARSOLT;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:CKIT 37;
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL STAN1;

3. For LOAD, it is the same code as above, except STAN2
4. For THRU, it is the same code as above, except STAN3
5. For Isolation, it is the same code as above, except STAN4
Note: It ran without error until the next step (step 6)
6. To calculate correction data
    :CALC1:PAR:SEL "CH1_S11_1";
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:SAVE;
    :CALC1:PAR:SEL "CH1_S22_2";
    :SENS1:CORR:COLL:SAVE;

After the first :SENS1:CORR:COLL:SAVE; was executed, the error "attempt to locate requested calibration data failed" occurred.
Could someone tell me what is wrong in these code?

Thank you very much,
Cathy
