Hi,
we would like to apply a BIAS voltage to the device connected to one of the ports (Port 1) of the PNA. There is a BNC port on the back of the PNA which seems to be for that. However, it seems not connected to the port and we failed to apply a voltage. Any ideas what we do wrong?
Thanks for help!
Please review the help section on using the Bias inputs here. It is possible that you may a blown fuse. try applying bias to one of the other ports that you have not used before and if that works and port 1 doesn't, then the issue is most likely the fuse. It is very important to keep bias current below the max rating. As a precaution set a current limit on your supply so that the bias T is protected even if you accidently short the RF port (like forgetting to turn the supply off during calibration).
