New 8757 shows EEPROM error message at startup

Hi

i just received a brand new 8757D, four port analyzer with the built in calibrator. Also received four new 85037A precision detectors with the 8757D

When I connect the detectors and turn on the analyzer, toward the end of the POST it shows the following messages on the screen in red

EEPROM read failed detector - A
EEPROM read failed detector - B
EEPROM read failed detector - C
EEPROM read failed detector - R

Can someone let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this or does the box have to go back?

thanks
