Our lab has several 85054D and 85054B calkits which has 7mm to Type-N testport adapters. Does someone has methods how to check connector repeatability of those adapters? As I remember, slottles adapters connector repeatability should be better than -60dB. I tried to end 7mm side with short and Type-N side rotating on differtent positions on Type-N test port which I was done 1-port calibration. Those different positions I collected S11 lin mag datas. Basicly results shows reasonable, but I don't have fully confident that is this the right method. If someone has some ideas, please let me know
Generally that is correct. You would put the data into memory, and display data-memory. This gives the vector difference and should run -60 for the 7 mm connectors. Type N are less repeatable but should be in the high 50's.
