Hi all
I have a question about the measurement of Lora modulation for RX.
Because the sensitivity is close to the noise floor.
So I have tried the internal amp with RBW 1KHz in N9020A in average power mode.
The display shows like below.
Is there any optimize way to have better measurement?
Hi William,
I have good experiences with the Keysight U7227A external preamplifier (10MHz to 4GHz, Gain 20dB, NF ca. 3.5dB@1Ghz).
Its calibrated and the software automatically takes the gain into account without any manual data entry.
This should easily suffice for -120dBm signals when you keep the BW low enough.
I have made a lot of low-level measurements (noise sources) using this and even homebrew parts and they work fine.
