My DUT is 12.5 ohm and sits on a pcb - looking for recommendations on how to best characterize this device using a 50-ohm analyzer up to 3 GHz. Thanks!

Hello AJ3,
The system impedance can be changed for measuring devices with an impedance other than 50 ohms. The PNA mathematically transforms and displays the measurement data as though the PNA ports were the specified impedance value. Physically, the test ports are always about 50 ohms.
Instructions on how to change the system impedance can be found on the PNA help page here, and the programming command can be found here. You can set your system impedance within the range of 0 to 1000 ohms.
Let us know how it goes!
