Hi,
I have MSO9404A oscilloscope, performing a frequency measurement on channel 1, i want to use this measurement in a formula "fx" is it possible ?
From what I see I can only use the functions on the channels not on the measurements.
Thanks for any help.
Formulas are for manipulating waveform data, not measurement results. There is a way to convert some measurements into a waveform, though.
If you would like to see how the frequency changes over time, then you can change the frequency values to a waveform by a two-step process:
- Right-click on the 'Frequency Measurement' and select 'Measure All Edges'
- Add a function called 'Measurement Trend', selecting your frequency measurement. You may need to have purchased the EZJit jitter package. If everything works, you should get a picture like this. The upper trace is a sine wave with some sinusoidal and random modulation added. The lower trace is the frequency measurement of each cycle in the upper trace, charted as a value.
Is this what you were looking for?
