Saving data of eye diagram/color grade scale using 86100 series

Dear colleagues,

86100 series oscilloscopes can operate in eye/mask mode, and collect in this case an eye diagram, which is essentially a 2D histogram.

As far as I understand, there are two possibilities to save such an eye diagram:

1. As a screenshot in graphic format (.jpg, .bmp etc).

2. As an internal binary data format (.cgs for obsolete Agilent oscilloscopes, .csgx for Keysight ones).

Is it possible to extract the data from .cgs file for the post-processing in an external application (e.g. MATLAB)?

Thank you in advance!
