I've done all the setup for eye measurement through scpi, but fail to find the cmd to show the eye.
The scope model is DSOZ594A. Thanks
OK, I'll try again. You need ":MTESt:FOLDing".
From the Manual:
- Color grade must be enabled before enabling the real-time eye.
- Refer to the :MEASure:CLOCk commands for clock recovery.
There's another way to figure this out, by using the Macro Recorder (Utilities -> Macro Recorder...) There is a second, more comprehensive set of SCPI commands, that are also somewhat abbreviated. The Macro Recorder will show those as you press the buttons to set the scope up. Then you can save those commands, and use them in programs. You take the saved commands and use them in your program as ':SYSTem:CONTrol "saved command" '. The syntax of the commands is somewhat different, and a single button click may produce many commands.
I suspect that the command you are looking for is ":DISPlay:CGRade"
Thanks Al, but it's not. What I'm looking for is real-time eye in the "Serial Data Analysis" panel (opened by the menu "Analyze" / "RTEye/Clock Recovery (SDA)").
I've setup badurate through "ANALyze:SIGNal:*", and cdr through "":ANALyze:CLOCk *", but find no command to turn on the eye
":MTESt:FOLDing" is exactly what I need. Thanks a lot!
I could not find Macro Recorder in the Utilities menu, nor in other menus. Actually I've tried to find it before, but failed.
