1) I have keysite 1132B differential probe for my scope. Can I use the same for measuring the CAN interface eye mask? Because in the keysite application note they have mentioned to use N2818A 200-MHz differential probe. If I can use 1132B probe then, what is the procedure to measure the eye mask for my DUT. Can i straight away probe the CAN Bus H, L signals directly using my probe?
2) What is the procedure for CAN bus protocol measurement, Whether it is possible to do the protocol analysis using this probe (1132B) only or any other test fixtures needed?
Please suggest. Bit Urgent.
Thanks,
Hari
This is a perfect question for your local Technical Contact Center. Go to www.keysight.com and look for the 'Contact Us' link.
If you contact them, they will want to know several things that you did not put in your message:
- What model of scope?
- Do you have the CAN mask option?
- Do you have the CAN protocol option?
The forums are intended for peer-to-peer communication, and are monitored, on an occasional basis, by volunteers within Keysight. It is not the best or fastest way to get technical support from Keysight.
