BenchVue over the network - ports, protocols

I am using a Keysight 34972A Data Acquisition / Data Logger with a 34901A Multiplexer and some Type J thermocouples to monitor equipment temperatures in another building.  I would like to view and download data remotely.

I am trying to set up BenchVue to run on my desktop and access the 34972 over a network.  Our network security team is requesting information about firewalls, ports, and protocols.  I could not find this information in the BenchVue technical overview.

Does anyone know how the 34972 + BenchVue communicates over a network?  What ports and protocols does it use?

Note:  my initial idea was to simply set up a wifi nano-router and attach it to the 34972.  This was deemed unacceptable by our security folks.

Thank you,
