Format of Verification Disks?

Question asked by najockey on Oct 12, 2010
Hi,

I have a failed floppy here on an 8753E. Yes, the Teac FD-04HF-2300 is available, but, why would I want to replace it? There are alternative floppy emulators, that use USB storgage.

My question is what is the format of the Verification Disks use to calibrate 8753 VNA's (in the 7 mm Verficiation kit)? Is it LIF or DOS? Can it be put on a DOS floppy, so it can then be delivered through a PC onto a USB stick?
