We own a old HP3245A Universal source and heavily rely on its sync output as reference signal for any AC output. We would like to upgrade to the B296XA (Note that the 33250A is not an option for us since we prefer the B296XA because of its superior parameters for low frequency output.)
Can these sources be use as AC sine source and generate a phase locked sync/trigger output similar to the HP3245A? Of course I checked the manual but could not extract this information from there.
Related to that: Can the second channel (in case of the 2962A) be phase locked to the first one and be used for this purpose?
