I'm not sure if this email is going to the right address for this question, but it was either this or the forums, and I don't see licensing discussion on the forums either.
I came back from Christmas to find that the machine that runs my PLTS licenses had a SAS controller failure. Unfortunately, it's an integrated controller. My solution was to swap all of the hard drives from the old computer to an identical workstation. However, now the MAC addresses and perhaps other hardware specific IDs do not match the original host, and the license server fails.
My licensing purchases are handled by our EDA group, and there is usually one renewal to cover everyone using PLTS within IBM each year. I'm not sure if that complicates things.
I have attached the new information for the restored computer. The host name has not changed from my previous configuration that is listed in the KSM, but the MAC address is different from the old.
