Hi,
Im fairly new on programming Keysight 34970A and would like to ask some question regarding measuring stuff.
What would be the best way to measure LED diodes reactions. I have an example, im reading the LED reaction with phototransistors and measuring the voltage drop on a resistor. The LED diode blinks instead of glow all the way.
Im using the cards: 34907A and 34902A
I did read about alarms, that's possible to check the periods but don't know how to code or set it up properly.
Could anyone give me some examples so i could check? Im coding in Visual basic.
Best regards
Janez
I need more information to answer this question.
1. Are you measuring voltage or current?
2. How fast to you need to sample each input?
3. Are you controlling the LED voltage or current with the 34907A?
4. Are you switcing the voltage or current with the 34902A or just using the 34902A as a multiplexer to switch inputs to the 34970A DMM?
Please provide a schematic diagram of your setup and a description of how you would like it to work. Submit this information via the "Contact an Expert" link (not via the forum) on the Keysight.com > 34970A > Technical Support web page.
