I am setting up up a frequency up converter(from VDI) to be used with a PNA model number N5242A. I get to a part where I have to use the multiplication factor in a calculation(as shown on the image below), can someone please help me determine how I can determine what the multiplication factors should be, sorry I'm new to electronics?

Thank you,

Freddy Cisneros

When using the N5242A, you'll be using the lower multiplier. Based on the image, both your RF and LO multiplier would be 6. In the mmWave macro, you'll enter in the frequency range of the extenders and the multipliers and it will calculate the frequency ranges of the PNA's sources and receivers. The IF frequency is also already defined in the write-up.
