Hello,

I am measuring the impedance of a device (inductor) using the Z-theta function and the Ls-Rs function. Instead of running the measurement twice (once for each function), can I measure only Z-theta and then compute Ls and Rs? Is there any reason to measure Ls-Rs (or any other equivalent circuit) directly rather than measure Z-theta and subsequently derive model parameters for whichever circuit model I choose?

I appreciate any help!
