My E4405B Spectrum analyzer is not booting. It's stuck on a gray/white screen when powered on. Any suggestions?
I would first see if it will boot from a floppy disk. The first disk in the firmware installation set it bootable. If you don't have one you can download the file to create the disk set from www.keysight.com/find/esa_firmware. If it boots from the first disk then you can continue with the process and reinstall the firmware set and hopefully it will work from there.
If it won't boot from the installer disk then it could be a problem with the RAM (1818-6431) on the CPU board. It will be in a 72 pin SIMM socket (one SIMM is flash the other is RAM).
