Network Analyzer interferes other equipment measurements

Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has experienced the problems with the Network Analyzer interfering other equipment's measurements.

We use UTMOST to control several  measurement tools in the system, including the HP 4145 parametric analyzer, LCR meter, Digital multimeter,  HP4142B modular DC source/monitor, etc.  through GPIB interface.   Before plugging in the network analyzer, the measurements on other equipments are good, but once the GBIP cable on the network analyzer (8753D) is connected to the system, the measurements on other equipment will become way off.  For example the current reading on the 4145 would go from .6 mili-Amps to 0.6 K-Amps.   I am puzzled on what causes the problem and anything can be done to fix it.

If you have any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
