RF line measurement

Hi,

I am green to E5071C network analyzer measurement. I have several questions about my measurement. Could you share me your ideas? Thanks in advance.

1) To verify a RF path with RF connector, it looks VSWR (S11, S22) is good enough to measure it. For perfect case, the value should be 1. I wonder what the typical value it should be.

2) Smith chart measurement R+jX seems to be a tool to perform matching for the RF path. Is it correct?

3) Could you explain me the marker response value of Smith R+jX as below?

     Marker
