I bought a used HP 6674A. It says on the front 60 V @ 35 A, but the back shows it has option J06. I can't see any description of what that is, although J03 and J07 change the output voltage and current, so I am guessing J06 might do the same. Unfortunately the 6674A arrived damaged, so I can't actually investigate too easily what it can/can't do.
If one bought a 6674A with an option which changed the output voltage and current (e.g. J03 or J07), would the label on the front indicate this, or just show the capabilities of the model with no options?
Dave.
There should be a white label on the front indicating the voltage/current ratings of the supply if it is a J option.
The J06 is an old option that we do not even sell anymore as far as I can tell. It does change the operating ranges of the supply. The output voltage is rated to go from 0 to 70 V and 0 to 30 A.
