Here in the Agilent Contact Center we are getting many calls regarding RFID. One of the measurement challenges is testing impedance of RFID tag antennas. We know a network analyzer is the right tool for this measurement, but how do engineers solve the probe calibration issue?

Normally we recommend "design for test" using an SMA launch. But these devices are usually "design for cheap". Testing them is an afterthought. It would be good to understand how this testing is done in practice.
