E3632A RS232 connection issue

Hello everybody,

I'm trying to use the BenchVue 3.0 to analyse energy data from E3632A Power Supply. I have a notebook running Windows 10 and the physical conection is through a RS232 to USB adapter.

First I've installed the last version of BenchVue I've found and it didn't detect the instrument automatically, as you can see in Fig2. Then I've tried to add it manually with Connection Expert, as shown in Fig1, but when I try to test the VISA Address the software don't recognize the model and manufacturer of the power supply, nevertheless I can add the instrument successfully when auto-identify isn't checked, as shown in Fig3. Back to BenchVue, the instrument added seems to be unsupported, which isn't true (Fig4).

I think the problem could be the physical connection between the notebook and the power supply, but during all my tests the power supply beeped several times showing these errors: 511 and -410.

Could someone please help me? Thank you.
