Thinking about this more... Let's say your doing a 2-Port calibration:

Is is fair to say that ELF of port 1 is equal to ESR of port 1? What is the real difference here?

Update: Spend more time thinking on this.
ELF is when Port 1 Source is On.
ESR is when Port 2 Source is On.

I would assume that they would be fairly close.
Another question, When Port 1 Source is On, how does the coupler leg connecting from the test port to the generated get loaded? Switches? Please advise in detail.
