Differential measurement using ENA TDR and N1021B

Question asked by nsm on Jul 21, 2015

I am doing a differential to differential measurement using the ENA-TDR and 2 N1021B probes. I have the following questions.

1. The ENA-TDR basically performs a single ended S parameter measurement. How does the ENA-TDR do the single ended measurement when the N1021B does not support single ended measurement and there is no ground?
2. The s4p file that is saved after the measurement are saved as single ended measurement results. If I were to do a measurement using a single ended probe will the measurement results match the ones that is saved in the S4p file measured  using the N1021B.

Please find the attached configuration of the measurement setup using the N1021B and the ENA-TDR.
