I am newbie in impedance measurement and trying to use a 4294A Precision Impedance Analyzer.

I am aware of the importance of cable length following the Agilent Impedance Measurement Handbook.

I have a 1M (one meter) 16048G adapter.

I know cables should be made as short as possible and that cable length limitation is driven by F[MHz] x L[m] < 15

My question is simple. I assume that after connecting 16048G 1M adapter and perfoming the adapter setting in the impedance analyzer this one meter should be removed from the formula FxL < 15 so that I should only take into account the actual length of my makeshift measurement device. Am I correct?
