34465A missing triggers?

Hello all,

We are actually testing a DMM 34465A. We have a trigger at 10 Hz and after a delay of 2 mS, we take 1600 readings of the input voltage with one integration time of 30 uS for each reading and a timer of 33 uS.
The DMM is programmed this way:

SYST:PRES
CONF:VOLT:DC
VOLT:DC:RANGE 10
VOLT:APER:ENAB ON
VOLT:DC:APER 30E-06
VOLT:DC:ZERO:AUTO OFF
FORMAT:DATA ASCII
TRIG:SOUR EXT
TRIG:SLOP POS
TRIG:DEL:AUTO OFF
TRIG:DEL 2E-03
SAMP:SOUR TIM
SAMP:TIM 33E-03
SAMP:COUN 1600

and then we enter one infinite loop with

INIT
FETC?
read the data

Because our trigger signal is periodic with period of 100 mS, we expect to read 1600 data every 100 mS.
The problem is that with Wireshark displaying network traffic to the DMM, from time to time we have no activity during 200mS between
the FETC? and the first data sent by the DMM meaning that the DMM has missed one trigger!

Is there something I am missing?
Is my programming wrong in one way or another?

Thank's for your help
