i'm sending the string:
":MEASure:DEFine DELTatime,, ,,,,"
with all the correct arguments. but for some reason the command isn't being done and all settings are still at their default (middle-rising, middle-falling).
while debugging I noticed that the command DOES work if I manually open the define delta time menu. while the menu is open it works without any issues and I am able to program the scope, so the string itself seems to be correct.
This doesn't seem to be a problem with for how long do I issue the string to the scope because I have tried it while debugging and with different delays.
Is anyone familiar with the problem and might have a solution? is there maybe an automation command to open the "define delta time" menu?
Thanks in advance.

Note that this scope is discontinued, and the last version of SW for it, 5.71, was released in 2009.
This doesn't sound like proper behavior, but there's probably not much that can be done about it at this point.
