U1620A backup battery replacement

Hi all,

I recently acquired a refurbished U1620A handheld scope.
It's in really great conditions, but the internal RTC (clock) appears to stop when the instrument is off.
I thought about a failure of the internal button cell, and indeed it looks dead, measuring only 0.56 V.

At first sight, it seems to be a CR1216 primary (non-rechargeable) cell with solder tabs.

One of the great things about HP/Agilent was the easy availability of service manuals for virtually anything they produced; alas, it's not the case for this device (and many more, I think).

So, before I go ahead looking for a replacement coin cell, I'd like to hear something from someone with specific experience.

By the way, any suggestions about getting a [real] service manual for this unit?
