I have installed the latest version (5.90) of the Logic Analyzer Software on a 16903A. When I open the COM Connection Tool and try to connect to either 'localhost' or the actual IP address of the LA, i get the error message:
'Unhandled exception has occured in your application. [...] Could not load file or assembly 'Interop.AgtLA, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified'.
I have also installed the LA Software 5.90 on a Windows 7 PC, and i get the same error message.
Otherwise the LA works fine, and it's probably not a networking issue. E.g., from the Windows PC i can connect to the 16903A.
Anybody else having the above COM problem with the LA Software 5.90?

My personal recommendation would be:
- Remove all of the LA SW, from both the LA, and the PC, removing the Demo Center, the License Server, and then the main app.
- Make sure that everything that looks related to the LA SW, except any license files, have been removed from the Agilent Technologies and/or Keysight Technologies directories.
- Run a registry tool, like CCleaner, just to be sure
- Reinstall the LA application and try again.
