Hi Everyone,
We are currently having problem in our HP53131A Universal counter.
The problems we observed in the unit are:
1) No Display when powered up but the fan is working.
2) Continuous clicking sound can be heard that might be coming from one or more relays that are switching ON and OFF.
Is there someone among you who could give me some helpful tips to resolved this problem?
Your help would surely be appreciated.

first point is verify power supply, maybe you have done...
Front panel +5V and +38V
Main board
in: +12V, -12V and +5V
on board: ±7.9V, ±5V
Verify +38V at pin#21 J1 of front panel board or J6 of main board; if this power is off or too low, display will be off. +38V come front of little switcher U30, page 4/4 schematic, near rear panel connector J3 (ext arm) on main board.
You have 2 manual on Agilent site for service your counter :components and assembly level

Good luck!
