We have two N9000A analysers, one of the analysers returns 3 decimal places when requesting the power level and the other returns 2 decimal places.
For example, setting -41.85dBm on one unit
:SOUR:POW -41.35DBM
:SOUR:POW?
-4.135E+01
On the other unit
:SOUR:POW -41.35DBM
:SOUR:POW?
-4.14E+01
I can find anything obvious in the analyser settings, does anybody know what causes this?

My first reaction is to ask: what are the firmware versions of the two units ?
