Using 34970A thru BenchLink Data Logger 3

I have a 34970A with a 34901A card in it.  I am trying to use it through a laptop running on Windows 7 Professional and Bench Link Data Logger 3.  I have a Keysight Connection Expert running and also a LabVIEW 2013.

At first, I was able to use 34970A through BenchLink, but I could not find 34970A in NI MAX.  I had learned that I had to activate an option in the "Keysight 488 options" menu under "Options" in "Settings".  (This requires administrative privilege that I don't have, so this is very tedious to do)

Once I did it, now I can see 34970A in Keysight Communication Expert as well as in NI MAX.  But Now I cannot use 34970A through BenchLink.  When I try to collect data by pressing "Start/Stop" in "Scan and Log Data" tab on the BenchLink, there is a pop-up window saying "GPIB0::10::INSTR: Not able to execute command in local mode." and 34970A beeps.  When I locally configure the 34970A through its front panel and then try to collect data through the BenchLink, it wipes out the setting on the 34970A and all channels become "OPEN".

I think I need to deactivate the option in the "Keysight 488 options" menu under "Options" in "Settings", but am wondering if there are anything I should do to resolve this issue.

Thank you in advance!
