Hello,
I'm quite new on the topic.
I installed BenchVue on my PC (Windows 7- 64 bit).
I connected the Agilent 34410A via USB to my PC.
Windows installed the driver for the agilent (USB Test and measurement Device IVI)
When I launch Agilent Connection expert, it is not able to see my Equipment.
I did the installation twice with the same result.
I also install BenchVue on another PC (Windows XP - 32 bit).
I have been able to detect the agilent with Agilent Connection expert without any problem.
Any idea to investigate my problem?
regards
Stéphane

Sorry you're having connection issues. Did you use the same cable on both PCs? Is it possible that the USB port or cable could be intermittent or defective? Does Connection Expert recognize other instruments on the PC that is not recognizing the 34410? Have you checked the IO settings from the DMM front panel to make sure the USB is enabled? (Would assume that's OK if this same instrument works on the XP machine.) Do you have more than one IO Library (e.g., Agilent, NI, Tek) installed where there could be VISA conflicts? (You can check by selecting "VISA Conflict Manager" in the Connection Expert.)
