Hello PNA-X'ers,
I have an Agilent N1914A. My PNA-X is running firmware 09.22.02. Help file says that this model is not supported by my firmware. Two questions:
1) Does a later rev of firmware support this power meter?
2) Does this later rev of firmware support the N1914A via LAN? If not, is this feature on the roadmap (i.e. PNA-X supports N1914A power meter via LAN)
Thank you
Andy

That new firmware does indeed support controlling those particular power meters via LAN. You should first ensure the LAN server is enabled onboard the power meter. The N1911/12A meters did not ship with the server enabled by default (at least on mine I had to enable it myself); I haven't checked yet to see if they changed that for the N1913/14A.
I should mention one caveat, which our technical writer Gary added to the PNA Help documentation for the new firmware. We do not yet support the capability of these two new power meters to use Agilent USB power sensors plugged into the meter itself. If you have any USB sensors, the PNA firmware supports those only when they're plugged into a USB port on the PNA.
Thank you again
Andy
