Correctly checking ibsta() and iberr and their associated error messsages?

Question asked by bmckenna on Nov 3, 2014
I recently started using the GPIB488 Library. Based on the documentation, checking the ibsta() and iberr should be done after each execution of a command...that makes sense! However, I'm not really sure how to check these objects to determine what the error message was let alone how deal with it. Could some please provide some sample code that would show the correct usage of these objects and perhaps a list of Error Messages?

Thanks,
Blake
