Dear Sir:
I own a 8753C Network Analyzer and after overlooking the manual for the HP 436A Power Meter, I am not satisfied with its operating specs. The HP 436A Power Meter was deemed compatible with the 8753C Network Analyzer. Is the E4418B EPM Series Single-Channel Power Meter (which was supposed to replace the HP 436A) completely compatible with the NA 8753C? Also, what other power meters are completely compatible with the 8753C - as a general rule what feature should I be looking at to determine system compatibiltiy?

I just looked at the Agilent page for the E4418B, and it says, "Code compatibility with 437B and 436A power meters ", so it should be ok. The other item would be that the power range of the sensor required for the measurement is correct - but this is independent of the power meter.
